till my children have the best opportunities

lessons

and skills

to tackle this world

and all that is and is not absurd

for such colorful lives

they exist in spite

of all that obstructs

hiding behind university degrees and common sums

haven’t you seen the things she runs

kids’ from the streets

kid’s homes

all of this and without guns

takes them out your door

and pins them to another kind of floor

so many fairytales

and too many webs she has spun

playing games

with families

and whole communities

she who will now be shunned

and if you look at her now

you may watch as she comes undone

but we win

my friends

and as the plot thickens

she will never take another child again

in the end

she has become the devil

attempting to disguise

a rare love

so that it never knew of its’ own demise

her foot soldiers now will all squirm

let them all run

biological clocks all return

until they all burn … ’cause it’s our turn

for my unified conjunctions

of unordinary yet explanatory life

schizophrenic assumptions

but for my inheritance

of what is truth and what is lies

for what lies beneath

the blood stained sheets

is another cross examination

of over indulgent release

Imagine living a day inside your mind

that’s what you used to say

time after time … so I tried

we all made time for you that day

sit back and take a load off

and let me rewind

I worked it out long ago

none of you could hide

I exposed every lie

everytime … so that is why

I had to beat you at your own game

in your frightened state

could hardly look at my face

any sign of weakness

you thought you had me in

I pledged to you my allegiance

so the riddles did begin
